-I started mtumba business after covid19 When I decided to restart my mtumba business (Phase 2), I had limited capital. Instead of buying everything, I focused on fast-moving stock.

-The loudest people are rarely the wealthiest. Real wealth is often built in silence.

-My experience working with children has been a journey of learning, mentorship and creating positive impact. Through my role as the Founder and Director of Shaping Futures Foundation since 2019, I have had the opportunity to interact with and support many children by providing mentorship, life skills training, education support, dance programs and community activities. I have learned how to understand children’s different backgrounds, identify their needs, and create safe environments where they can express themselves and grow.

Instead of allo‌wing these chal‍len⁠ges t‍o st‍op me,​ I decided to s‍earch for oppo​r‍tu‌nities t‍ha⁠t could change my future.

-My grandma used to serve me tea in a cracked cup every morning. I often begged her to throw it away and buy a new one.

-Every day, restaurants across Mombasa throw away food that's still good while families nearby go hungry. I couldn't stop thinking about that gap, so I built FoodBridge to close it.

-Giving back to the community is one of the most meaningful ways to make a positive difference in the lives of others. True generosity comes from helping without expecting recognition, rewards or anything in return. A simple act of kindness can restore hope, inspire confidence and remind someone that they are valued.

-Being a CEO comes with many daily challenges that require resilience, patience, and strong decision-making. Every day involves balancing the organization's vision with immediate operational needs while ensuring the team remains motivated and productive. A CEO must manage finances, respond to emails, attend meetings, solve unexpected problems, and make difficult decisions that affect employees, partners, and the future of the organization. There is also the constant responsibility of seeking funding, building partnerships, and maintaining the trust of stakeholders. At times, the workload can be overwhelming, with long hours and little time to rest.

-​Every morning, the forest awoke to a brilliant show. The emerald parrots filled the air with loud chatter, the peacocks flaunted their sapphire cloaks, and the grand eagles claimed the highest corners of the sky.

-Growing up in my village, I always felt like a mismatch. While I spent my nights studying and planning for a future five years down the line, my neighbors lived entirely for the present moment. "Why worry about tomorrow when today isn't even over?" they’d argue, spending their hard-earned daily wages on instant pleasures rather than investing in better farming tools or education.
