Broken promises from my boss

When I started working, I thought I had found a good boss. He was kind and friendly, and I believed I had found a stable job where my hard work would be appreciated. I worked diligently every day, always arriving on time and doing my best to complete every task.

At the end of the month, I was excited to receive my salary. However, I was surprised when my boss paid me only half of the money I had earned. When I asked about the rest, he told me not to worry because he would pay the remaining amount the following month.

The same thing happened again and again. Every payday, he would give me only part of my salary and promise to pay the balance later. I trusted his words at first, but after many months, I realized that the promises were never fulfilled. It was painful because I depended on that money to meet my daily needs and support myself.

That experience taught me an important lesson. I learned that kindness alone does not make a good employer. A good boss respects employees by paying them fairly and on time. Although I was disappointed, I chose to remain hopeful and believe that one day I would find a workplace where my efforts would be valued and rewarded honestly.
