Last Saturday I was at home in Utawala estate. It was 1am, I was preparing lunch for one when I heard a knock on the door. I opened and found my rooftop neighbor and a girl. We were about the same age, 23/25 or so, so don’t get alarmed. I invited them in, but I had to go out and buy more food. I couldn’t leave them alone in my one-bedroom, so I sent my friend while I stayed in the kitchen. The girl remained in the living room.
After about three minutes, I heard the door open. I assumed it was my neighbor back from the shop, but no one came to the kitchen. On my way to the living room, I saw my bedroom door wide open. I never leave it open. I went in my laptop and Samsung phone were gone.
I checked the living room no one. I went outside and saw my neighbor returning with the food. He said he left the girl inside. We searched for her but didn’t find her.
I wanted to go to the police, but past experiences held me back.
