Sometimes, i guess this is necessary to admit, but having a good relationship with your mum saves a girl from a lot of trouble.
You don't have to go looking for love anywhere for it is always there. You are constanly reminded of her love for you and that you need no one else.
It saves a girl from questioning her self worth. Esteem is higher and so is awareness.
As a will-be-one-day mother (biological or adoptive) i pray that i always remind my girls, AND BOYS TOO, that i love them. That they forever hold my heart, and hug them sooooo tight that they get embarassed. Because at least you show them that love is there in your heart, and they do deserve to be loved, sans Performance; no matter who they are, what they do, where they go. Unconditionally.
