There once lived a family of four in an island. The mother and the two children lived a terrible life because the father always beat them for small mistakes hence they had a horrible life. One day the older brother decided to defend his mom against his father but it became a very bad idea. His father started beating him up until his younger brother decided to help him escape his father hiding inside a cabinet. Unfortunetly his father found them and started again beating them up. He picked up a chair to hit the boy but the younger brother shielded his older brother ending up being beaten instead which lead to him being hospitalized.
After that incident the mother decided to relocate with her sons and go far away where her husband could not find them. She later changed their names so it wasn't easy for her husband to find them easily. The mother later fell in love with another man who seemed to be kind compared to her husband and they stayed as a happy family for fifteen years. They came to grow fond of the new family until they forgot their past painful memories.
This happiness was shuttered when the older brother got to see his real father in the area they lived leading to him being scared bringing his past memories back. He was afraid to tell his mother and brother because he saw how happy they were and he didn't want to destroy it. So he kept it for himself and endured the torture all alone. He later decided to confront his real father so that he prevents him from destroying the peace they had out all of his resentments to him. The father realized that he was the wrong person after all and had nothing to say. He later went outside and headed directly to the police station to give the evidence so as to have their freedom and stop living in fear.
The father was later arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment for the wrong deeds he did to his family. That's how the boy who never got to smile often started being social and happy. They lived happily with no worries.
